Birdcage si scontra con standards jazz, composizioni originali, temi del rock, improvvisazione. Un punto di fuoco personale non predeterminato, interessato a quanto unisce queste fonti musicali, al presente, e non alle scatole in cui posson esser messe. Si insinua nel lato meno considerato (e più specifico) di queste musiche: la fragilità, lo spirito di rottura con ciò che nel frattempo è divenuto regola e abitudine, che ci rassicura e soffoca insieme. Birdcage è implicito arrischiarsi al limite di confini segnati, serietà e leggerezza (apparenti antitesi insite nella libertà), senza risolvere in una risposta: il dubbio resta aperto e trova forza.

Birdcage  is clashing with the jazz standards, original compositions, rock themes, improvisation. A personal focus point not preconceived, open to what unifies all this musical sources, in the present and not in their predictable boxes.Birdcage snakes in the less considered side (and more specific) of all these music: the frailty, the breaking spirit with habits and rules that reassure us and suffocate at the same time.Birdcage is reaching the defined limits, gravity and lightness (apparently in antithesis, innate in the freedom), without giving an answer: the question remains open and it find its strength.
